Global Information Network Scam - Is It True?

Is the Global Information Network just another scam? Is the Global Information Network scam a reality; is it a pyramid scheme whose only purpose is to line the pockets of the guys who created it? These GLobal Information Network scam, pyramid scheme, and uninformed questions are becoming something of an obvious joke since GIN is a first class organization.

"Ever Heard of a Pyramid Scheme Scam? Well, You Have Now with the Global Information Network Scam"

A friend of my mother's actually wrote the line above to me in a very angry email accusing me of sending him info on a pyramid scam. This was after I sent out a brief and ultra casual email to all my friends about the Global Information Network and how excited I was about the information I was receiving. His reaction is understandable in a world where scams and pyramid schemes truly do abound- especially on the internet (every other email is a scam; in fact the scams abound!); where many are taught that good things are beyond their reach, that they are not "lucky", and where many are only out for "number one" and dead set on separating you from your money; but.. it just doesn't apply to this case. No, the Global Information Network scam accusation is unfounded... read on; you'll find out why.

See, the person I mentioned above didn't even bother to go to the Global Information Network website or seek any information about the Global Information Network- they just blindly replied to the message with an automatic, knee-jerk reaction of disbelief and anger and came to a blind, robotic conclusion: "must be scam; must be a pyramid scheme; must be a hoax; Repeat: must be scam; must be a pyramid scheme, etc." Why?

Let's get this scam/ pyramid scheme confusion out in the open, once and for all.

The Global Information Network is not a scam; the Global Information Network is not a pyramid "scheme" although the commission structure is shaped like a pyramid (every institution is shaped like a pyramid; the military heirarchy is pyramid shaped- in both pay and rank, your church's leadership organization is pyramid shaped, your corporation is a pyramid shaped, the girl scouts organization is shaped like a pyramid; are these all "scams"?). The Global Information Network council (those whom concieved of the idea for GIN) are not enriching themselves financialy with this club because there are NO owners. It has been set up as a foundation. The money generated goes right back into membership dues and to people working the affiliate program.

photo of Shannon Smith and Kevin Trudeau of the global information network (real men; not a scam)

I want you to take away from this page one thing. The guys that concieved of the Global Information Network are not a bunch of scheming, shabby guys sitting in a dark room trying to manipulate people for money in a massive scam. I've been to events. I've shaken hands with Kevin Trudeau several times. I've spoken to some of the faculty trainers and leaders. These guys are passionate! They pour their soul into their trainings because they really want members to succeed in life. Also, the GIN council members are billionaires/ multi-millionaires and already have multiple million dollar money making machines- they don't need the Global Information Network to make them money and don't anyway since they don't own it. (Photo: Kevin Trudeau and your new sponsor, Shannon D. Smith)

Kevin Trudeau, one of the GIN council members (NOT an owner- remember, GIN has no owners), has a vision for the Global Information Network. It is his burning desire to reach new members but he is not affected personaly or financially if someone joins or not. As mentioned above, this club is set up as a foundation. Again, the membership dues go right back into the foundation to enrich and grow the membership benefits. The money the club generates is not going to Kevin Trudeau nor the rest of the Global Information Network personally and furthermore (because they are NOT the owners- there are none); he doesn't need to do this nor create a scam of any kind- this is simply the vehicle he and the other Global Information Network council members have chosen to disseminate the information they wish to share. And the members of the Global Information Network are thrilled to be a part of it; they are massively happy with the program and the Global Information Network has an extremely high retention rate; scams and schemes never do.

ship, Majesty of the Seas the Global Information Network cruise (real cruise; not scam)

I attended the Global Information Network Leadership Cruise in January of 2011 (for photos, video and review click HERE). Months before, the Global Information Network had promised a free luxury cruise to anyone whom came with a member to this event; members could bring as many people as the ship could hold. Many people thought this was too good to be true so that the Global Information Network must be a scam. I was there. Members and free attendees had different colored badges. There were HUNDREDS of free attendees laughing, enjoying the seminars and having fun. Each of them that I got a chance to talk to were having a the time of their life! The Global Information Network stood by their word! Of course, they did- they are a professional organization created by some of the most brilliant business minds in the world.

Recently I attended the Global Information Network's "Go 5 Star" training,(for photos and a review click HERE). My sponsor had signed up on a Global Information Network special in which the Global Information Network was to give $5,000 to the visionaries that joined up in March of 2010 and whom stayed in the club for a year. He showed me the check he recieved. Again, the Global Information Network was true to their word. And why wouldn't they be? As already mentioned- they are not getting personaly enriched; they don't need to be doing this- it is a passion for them.

Wikipedia presents this definition of a pyramid scheme (scam):

"A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment, services or ideals, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme or training them to take part, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public."

Global Information Network has a Real and Obvious Product so it's Not a Scheme

If the Global Information Network didn't have a product and if it had a non-sustainable business model, then it would be a pyramid scheme (scam). But that is just not the case at all!

The Global Information Network's product is the fantastic club membership and the benefits (details on another page) members recieve. Just like a gym club membership! Is joining a gym club a scam?

Think of it like this. People spend money on a membership to an exercise gym (and then often they rarely even go to it). They may pay a sign up fee and then monthly dues. The same system applies to membership in the Global Information Network; what I call the "mental gym". You pay a fee to join and then monthly dues. It's that simple! Are gym's scamming people?

Global Information Network & Multi Level Marketing: a Marketing Plan- Not a Scam/ Scheme!

photo of Shannon Smith, your global information network sponsor

Continuing the comparison, some gyms may give you a financial incentive for telling your friends about the gym membership- if that friend signs up, then you might get a percentage of monthly dues knocked off your bill. In the Global Information Network, you simply have the option to tell folks about the network and earn a sales commission if they also sign up. Most of the folks enjoy the membership without trying to sell memberships to others at all. So the Global Information Network has this multi-level marketing aspect to it but that's not required as a member; members enjoy the training and benefits and can ignore "selling" GIN unless interested. 70% of our members do not even participate in the MLM aspect! The MLM aspect is built in as just another membership benefit for those whom love the club and can see it's potential for growth and are happy to expose others to it.

Or think of it like this: a lot of books and products are sold because of word of mouth; one person telling another how much they like an item and then that second person makes a purchase. Many books, movies, foods, CDs, and all kinds of things are sold because of this kind of free promotion. With GIN, you simply take that to another level and get paid for sharing your enthusiasm, if you care to do so.

You know, I always thought it was crazy for people to wear "Tommy Hilfiger" or other such advertisements on their clothing. But if I wear a "Global Information Network" or "GIN" t-shirt or hat (which is available), then I have the potential to actually get paid for doing so. I'm enjoying the training seminars- so why not tell others about it? Learn more about the Global Information Network MLM affiliate program by clicking here.

Isn't the Global Information Network overpriced, making it a scam?

Some people will say it is and others will say the information received is invaluable. So honestly, it depends on you on what your interest is in the material the Global Information Network presents. There is a $1,000 initiation fee and $150 monthly dues. It's about the same amount of money as someone whom pays for a cup of starbucks everyday. I know that kind of statement is often thrown around in an effort to sell things but when I used to work in DC- believe me, people bought 1 and often 2 cups of that stuff a day!

For me, the Global Information Network has presented material that has changed my life. This is information that has made me 100% more positive, eager about my future and confident in my place in the world. It has perfected my relationships and placed my dreams in the realm of attainable goals. It's been more than worth it! But then again, that's me and my opinion. I was looking for change in my life and the Global Information Network has inspired me to keep my dreams alive and pursue new ones!

If you are also looking for positive change in your life, a spark to remind you that your dormant dreams are worth pursuing, that you CAN change your life; if you are looking for the mental tools to get you moving along- if you join, you might also look back one day and say the cost was nothing compared to the value of your life changing for the better!

Also, you should know that many of the Global Information Network presenters charge more than $1,000 or some even $2,000 for a day of teaching- but it's free to GIN members! There's information you will learn here that isn't available anywhere else.

Some people have said, "I will never pay for information. I will never pay for truth." I've actualy read that. My answer is- have you ever bought a book? Have you ever taken a college course or paid for training on a given subject? Perhaps colleges that charge you massive amounts of money to go on to higher and higher levels of education (and indoctrination) are scams and schemes? (hmmmm... perhaps in some cases they are?).

Here's something else to keep in mind, with some honest effort utilizing the Global Information Network affiliate program, the membership can pay for itself and more (depending on how much effort you put into it)!

One more thing I'd like to mention in the "Global Information Network Scam Debate." I think some people are looking for scams. Yes, they are looking for a get rich quick scheme. They are the ones looking to get scammed! The Global Information Network is not a get rich quick scheme; but you CAN make money with it and through it in various ways. You can work the affiliate program and potentialy make money; especially NOW because it's the ground floor of something that is going to, in theory, sweep the world. You can use the ideals to generate confidence and goal setting and eventually make money pursuing your own dreams (potentialy).

Some people like to quickly label new opportunities like the Global Information Network as scams because it takes them off the hook. How so? Because they can just forget about the program and/or their dreams and not have to think intelligently about the information and opportunities it presents and so they have an excuse not to work at their goals. They can them blame the rest of the world for their problems and go on complaining. Are you one of these people? Well, that's OK; changing attitudes and raising belief levels is what the Global Information Network is all about!

So the next time you are thinking about the Global Information Network- is it a scam or isn't it a scam- read carefully what I wrote above, sit quietly and without emotion, use your own intellect and intuition to figure what you believe without automatic negativity.

Global Information Network's Kevin Trudeau addresses the question of "Your Wish is Your Command" being a scam?

Some folks have even stated that the monumental Global Information Network foundational training, the recording of "Your Wish is Your Command" was a scam and below I want to give you Kevin Trudeau's response to this:

photo of Shannon Smith, your global information network sponsor

"I received an email recently that I wanted to address. Here’s the email:

'Hi Kevin. I had a question I was hoping you could answer for me. It seems no one wants to address this, but I keep getting it from some prospects -- is the CD series "Your Wish Is Your Command" a scam? Why can’t you hear the people asking questions and throughout the program there are background sounds, like a police siren, dogs barking, horns honking, and at some point, an office phone rings. I’ve heard all that myself, but never had anyone I know mention it. Have you had any issues with this? We’d greatly appreciate any info you can provide. Looking forward to Chicago!'

Here’s the answer to this… There is no magic here and there is no secret. I recorded the ‘Your Wish Is Your Command’ CD series in the Alps at a private chalet. I’ve said that from day one. In the private chalet, it was recorded in the summer. The windows were open. We don’t need air conditioning. Outside of the room, the windows are open. You can hear the dogs bark. You can hear the European siren that goes by at one point and you can hear one of the phones in the chalet go off, so it’s not a surprise that you hear those sounds. Somebody says, “how come we can’t hear the people asking the questions?” When I recorded this live, I had people in the room and I set up the recording device with a block because I wanted to record the audio, not just for the people in the room, but to make a CD series.

Now, if I am in a room talking and a person in the back 50 feet away asks a question, it won’t be picked up by the microphone. That’s why you have to hand the person in the audience a microphone. Otherwise, it’s not recorded. So, that is why I would repeat the question. When the person was talking, I would not talk. That way after we recorded the entire live event, I would go into the studio and listen to it. We then edited it out and shortened the amount of time that I was waiting while a person was asking a question. Therefore, you don’t hear any noise at all during that period. We shortened it and edited all the noise out. That’s number one. Number two, I then re-recorded some parts in the studio to make sure the flow of ‘Your Wish Is Your Command’ was perfect for the in-home listener. photo of Shannon Smith, your global information network sponsor

So, the fact that you are hearing noises outside, like the siren and the dogs, is because we were in a room in a chalet in the Alps in Europe and that’s what the noises were outside. The reason you don’t hear the questions are threefold; number one, the person wasn’t handed a mic, number two, in the editing booth, I edited out any noise and shortened the amount of time that there was blank space, and number three, I also rerecorded some sections in the studio so that the material was all there.

So, if somebody says, "Is it a scam?" It really doesn’t matter where it was recorded. The fact is, when you go through it, is the material presented good? Personally, I think the material is excellent. The fact that I recorded it live as opposed to 100% in studio I think makes it even better. However, for those who’ve gone through it, you be the judge whether you like this or not. Right now it’s being called “The Think And Grow Rich” of our time.

I hope that answers your question. It was definitely a good question.

Yours in wealth…

KT"

The Answer: Of Course the Global Information Network is NOT a Scam: It's a Club!

So that's it in regards to the question of "Is the Global Information Network a scam?" The answer is that of course it is not a scam. A scam doesn't put you on real cruises with top shelf speakers as advertised. A scam doesn't offer you training from some of the world's best speakers and then live up to it with seminars all over the U.S.; seminars that you can attend or download at home. A scam wouldn't have the best MLM commission model in the industry. So don't believe the scam hype. It's top notch all the way with the Global Information Network.

ABOUT THE COST OF the Global Information Network / reasons why it has the price that it does:

It's about the same cost as a cup of Starbucks coffee a day.

1. The Global Information Network founders believe that the membership benefits exceed the cost of membership. For example: The speakers folks have access to are normally inaccessible to the “average” Joe. You might pay thousands, outside of the Global Information Network, to go to a Marshall Sylver seminar or one of the other speakers. Ron Ball, one of the speakers I’ve seen several times and got to shake his hand and ask him questions- he normally only speaks to the top management of fortune 500 companies or gets top dollar for major seminars. They believe the priceless power of networking in groups like the Global Information Network wherein members pledge to help other members first. There's the online library of video, audio and written material. There will be more and more special discount offers. Not to mention the deluxe luxury cruise on a new cruise liner filled with “top shelf” speaker seminars. I’ve heard the Global Information Network speakers mention Zig Ziglar in a couple of meetings. If you aren’t familiar with him- he was a top sales guru. He always said that you only sell things you believe in and in which product’s value or benefit is worth more than the cost of the product. This is what the Global Information Network believes.

2. This is probably the most important point on the cost. If you've heard the "Your Wish is Your Command" series, on the first CD, Kevin talks about how important it is for someone to be teachable and a good measure of this is to determine what a person is willing to sacrifice or give up in order to learn something? These guys are very serious in this regard. They believe that if someone is serious about success then they do what they call paying themselves first; that is- they invest in themselves in the form of buying training and success oriented material. I just went to a Global Information Network seminar with Ron Ball where he talks a bit about the success principles of billionaires and multi- millionaires that he interviewed. They all are listeners to positive audios, they all continue to be readers. They all invested in themselves early on and still do. A lot of them made sacrifices; for example: not going to movies or having a small home or whatever as they built their larger dreams. They understand the concept called "Delayed Gratification." Money is like a certain kind of energy in this society. They believe that old saying that you can give someone hungry a fish or you can teach them to fish and then they will never go hungry. They believe they are teaching people success principles and the money will flow after a certain level of training and practice- is there a gaurantee in that regard? Of course not but we all can become more enriched with success-oriented material to some degree.

3. The Global Information Network council believe that those whom pay for something, especially monthly dues, are more apt to pay attention to the information they receive and not just let it sit and collect dust. I definitely find this to be true.

4. The Global Information Network uses this as a tool to weed out those whom are not serious about success.

5. Because this is a foundation with a legal charter, the profits go back into the Global Information Network to increase the membership benefits. The more money coming into the org in the form of dues- the more benefits there are- and they are growing. One of the additional, but optional, benefits of the Global Information Network is the affiliate program- it is robust because the dues are able to make it a good program.

6. How much are your dreams, goals, hopes, longings and desires worth? How much longer are you going to wait? It is my opinion the the Global Information Network can help.
